Glock 48 Extended Clip - Pin set screws are set with Loctite® to the specific tension we recommend and will generally require no adjustment. Tightening the base screw is not recommended and can be difficult as the screw is secured with Loctite®; Attempting to forcefully turn the set screw may loosen the screw. We do not offer baseplates for loose ends of setscrews or pins lost as a result of tampering with setscrews.

This baseplate adds a little extra weight to the magazine, which helps release empty mags smoothly for faster reloads. This TTI GLOCK baseplate, like all of our baseplates, is designed to give you an edge over your opponents. We use our patented pin design to lock the base mount onto the magazine, making it easy to remove in the field and clean the magazine between stages. Simply push the pin down, slide the base mount onto the magazine and push the pin up to lock the base mount onto the magazine. Our one-piece design is great because no additional parts or tools are required to attach the base mount to your magazine. The base plate itself is machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish. All processing and manufacturing is done in the United States.

In classic Hive style, we follow the lines of the grip and give the 48 a better buy zone and allow the magazine to drop faster from the firearm during reloads. Like all of our products, they are machined in-house and then anodized in one of our eight colors. Unlike the single-stack model, the 48 Plus 2 features a two-piece design with a mag-stop holding the magazine securely in place.
